- Is it available now?
- Early access is opening in stages. Join the waiting list and we'll be in touch when it's your turn, with a live walkthrough from link sent to result, and get your branch set up among the first agents to use it.
- What does £8 per report include?
- Everything for one applicant: the certified digital identity check with Right to Rent, open banking income verification, live HMRC employment and income data, Land Registry checks on homeowner applicants and on the property being let, and the credit, CCJ, insolvency and address data points. Guarantors and additional applicants are £8 each too.
- How quickly do results come back?
- When the tenant connects their bank through open banking, income and affordability are confirmed the moment they do. Even without that connection, the remaining checks come back very quickly rather than days later, because the data is pulled directly from the source instead of waiting on a referee.
- Is Right to Rent included?
- Yes. The identity check is carried out by a certified Identity Service Provider (IDSP), the standard the Home Office accepts for digital Right to Rent. British and Irish passport holders are covered in the same check; everyone else goes through the Home Office share code route. The evidence stays on the file.
- Do you still contact employers?
- No. The applicant signs in to their Government Gateway and HMRC's own PAYE record confirms who employs them and what they earn, so there's no employer reference to chase.
- Does it work with our tenancy software?
- Yes. Referencing connects to Pink Chilli, so a completed reference flows straight into tenancy set-up, and the Blinc-UK Open API is available for CRM and proptech integrations.
- Do we need to use Blinc-UK for AML as well?
- No. Referencing stands on its own, so you can start there. If you already use Blinc-UK for AML, referencing sits alongside your AML checks on the same platform, with the same login and the same team on the phone.
